Class Evaluation 

1. The things that I liked about this class is that we would learn ctr quotes and explain what they are in our own perspective. When we would see the videos of a ctr person and ctw person. One other thing I liked is our life planning journal. 

2. The things that I did not like in this class is that when we were done with our work we had to do typing tutor or our numeric keypad. In the beginning is fun but after a while its boring. When people will forget there life planning journal they will get points off of there grade. 

3. My recommendations for improvements in this  class is showing more videos. Another recommendation is reducing the times that we do a student success statement. 

4. I am not reading my life planning jornal five minutes a day because I forget it in my locker afterschool and when I am home I realized that I forgot it. 

5. I am not going to lie I try to  be a ctr person 24/7 but it just  doesn't work out. I try my best to be one but things get in the way of me being one. 

6. One thing that I learn that I can pass to others is to bring here life planning journal everyday. Do all your work.

7. The things I would always remember is all the songs that Mr.Haymore used to always play.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Dentists diagnose and treat problems with patients' teeth, gums, and related parts of the mouth. They provide advice and instruction son taking care of teeth and gum sand on diet choices that affect oral health.

Education:

Graduate from from an accredited dental school, pass a written and practical exam. Must be licensed. Dentists who practice in a specialty are must complete postdoctoral training.

Communication skills, Detail oriented, Dexterity, Leadership skill, Patience

I would not like to be a dentist. It won't be the right job for me. 

Trauma Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The common task of trauma patients for an emergency operation, and assist surgeons during an operation. Trauma nurses are well-trained and well-versed registered nurse rendering care to patients suffering from different injuries, many are serious and life-threatening injuries.

Education:

To land an entry-level position, you will need at least a two-year nursing degree (associate degree). 

Demand for this particular career:

Experience in special areas such as intensive care nursing. Two years of experience in emergency nursing prior to application for certification exam. Certification from the BCEN. Another certification from CPEN, CFRN, CEN, and CTRN.

I would not like to be a trauma nurse. this wouldn't be the right job for me. 

Memorial Day

1. Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. 
2. Memorial day is the last monday of May. 
3. A few ways to show honor and respect on memorial day is by flying the flag, saying thank you, support the military families, attend a memorial service, and keep the history alive.

6. A few things I will do on Memorial day is flying the flag, and saying thank you.

My opinions on Memorial day is that Memorial Day traditionally marks the beginning of summer: families and friends congregate for a picnic or a barbecue, enjoying the weekend. Memorial Day originated from the Decoration Day when people honored soldiers who died in the Civil War. Later the designation of the day expanded to all the men and women who have died in military service. By the late 1860s, Americans in various towns and cities had begun holding springtime tributes to these countless fallen soldiers, decorating their graves with flowers and reciting prayers.Today many cities celebrate Memorial Day with memorial services, parades, public speeches and demonstrations. However, it is important to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and reflect on how blessed we are to be able to get together with our loved ones on this beautiful spring day. The best way you can honor someone is by saying thank you. Each year on Memorial Day a national moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00 p.m. local time. 

Sports Medicine

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Work with doctors to rehabilitate sport-related injuries. They specialize in the treatment and rehabilitation of sport and athletic injuries. Diagnose, treat, and help prevent injuries that occur during sporting events, athletic training, and physical activities.

Master's degree in sports medicine. physical therapy, or athletic training

Demand for this particular career:

Mandatory physical therapy licensure, optional Sports Therapy Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)

IDP Showcase Experience

             

  My experience was good I liked my group members. The way we chose our group members were by our english tables. The members that I had were Giselle Toro, Rubby Rojas, Imogen Romero, and Krystal Vasquez. We made a good group because we are very hardworking individuals. Our topic was OCD and my part was the action plan. I had to come up with a plan to help anyone dealing with it. I think we did good yesterday presenting. The thing I hated the most was looking for parking. Looking for parking here is the hardest thing that you have to do. Our project came out good and we remembered everything except for one person she kinda forgot what to say but she did good. They only asked us one question and then that is it. After the presentation I went to go buy nachos and a soda and then left home. 

Forgive

       This statement means the only way to live and die in peace is forgive the person that did you wrong. Is someone does you wrong what you have to is forgive them. For example to guy that killed two twenty years olds while intoxicated which was his second DUI. He got 22 years in prison but one of the girl mom went to court and plead to sentence his time in half because she forgave him. I would never ever forgive anyone that would ever kill one of my child while intoxicated. They should not have been driving in first place. I would let him/her do there time. Do the crime you do your time. If you can't do the time then don't do the crime. It is not easy just to forgive a person. I could sleep fine and go on what my life knowing the person that killed my child is in prison. Everyone has different ways that they deal with things.

I would not like to be a Speech-language pathologist. This is not the field that I would like to invest my time in.

1.  Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict.
2. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished. 
3. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened. 
4. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than lying (and getting caught).
5. Other people trust more when you tell the truth.
6. You don't have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight. 
7. You gain a reputation for being truthful- a trait most people value. 
8. Telling the truth helps you feel secure and peaceful inside.

This  statement means that by telling the truth there are many good things that come out of it. These are only eight good reasons but there are so many more. Telling the truth makes people relieved that they don't have to lie to cover up another lie that they said before. Me personally I dont always say the truth. But when I do I don't have to worry about the lie that I said is going to come back and haunt me. Telling the truth can shorter your detention/ grounded time. Telling the truth can save people from getting hurt or getting in trouble.

Social workers help people solve and cope with problems in their everyday life. Assess clients' needs, situations, strengths, and support networks to determine their goals. Help clients adjust to changes and challenges in their lives, such as illness, divorce, or unemployment.

Education:

Some social workers need a bachelor's degree in social work, clinical social workers must have a master's degree and two year sof post-masters experience in a supervised clinical setting.

Compassion, Interpersonal skills, Listening skills, Organizational skills, Problem-solving skills, Time-management skills

I would like to be a social worker. When i was younger  this is what I wanted to do but I changed my mind. I wouldnt like to do this job anymore.
