Student Success statement

"I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating."

        This statement means people would rather fail with honor than win by cheating. Falling honorably is better than winner by cheating. You will not be considered a winner by cheating you way to the endzone. For example the horse race the person riding the horse  cheated his way into the endzone and got caught by a picture someone took of him. Now he considered a cheater instead of a winner. Another example is the wrestling match for the finals when the kid lost honorably he shook the player hand and hugged him then went to the kid father and gave him a huge. Now everyone is a jerk when they lose. Some lose fair and square. Just because you lose doesn't mean the world is ending the competition probably wasn't the one for you. The way to live life is by choosing the right.

" May think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. in addition using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it."

This statement means the positive aspects that you recieve when doing something wrong it isn't going to be good. You will be living with a long-term problem. The celebration of something while on steroids is not going to be worth the amount of grieve or asham you will be dealing with. For example Michael Vicks he is a football player who was involved with dog fighting in his home. He thought that it was a great thing to watch dog fighting each other to death.When in reality whoever fights dogs to be ashamed of their self. The long term effect that he is going to have to live with is being known as the football player than was fighting dogs. Fighting dogs isn't worth the long term pain. Dogs are here to love one another not be abused. Now he is going to live with regret his whole life.

This statement means that in any situation you will have the strength and courage to not cheat. Cheating is not the best what to live lie. We should live life faithfully. Cheating can get you into serious trouble maybe with the law or anybody else. Choosing the right is the best way to live. Making a effort to not cheat and being successful in it is a great accomplishment. For example if everyone is cheating then you do not have to cheat just because everyone else is. Don't be a follower be a leader. You should be the one that makes your own decisions. Nobody should be making your decisions for you. You should never feel that someone is in charged of you. You are in charged of yourself.
