Do the right thing at the right time

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT 

" It's a GREAT MOMENT when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time."

This statement means that doing the right thing is  better than doing what is wrong. The great thing is helping out someone that needs help than waiting until something bad happens to them. For example the football guys helping out the girl that was getting bullied by the way she looked. The mom did a right thing emailing a family friend that happens to be the football quarterback. To help her out by keeping a eye on her. He took it a step forward by asking her to hang out with him and his friends. They took her under their wing and took care of her from that day forward. They weren't obligated to help her but they all had a kind heart and did what is right. Another Example is the opposing team helping out a girl who hit a homerun and during running she ended up tearing her acl. Her teammates couldn't help her finish the game/ touching all bases. So two girls from the other team decided to take it upon themselves and her her out. By carrying her to touch all the bases that she needed to touch so that her homerun can count.

This statement means that if you do not set any goals for yourself then what are you going to be aiming to achieve. Like in football if their is no goalpost then what is the point of playing with no purpose. In the real world you cant just wing everything. You need to have a plan on how you are going to do doing things. You need to set yourself long and short term goals. To be successful in life you have to work hard. If you do not know your goal then where are you going to be doing or going. The goal is going to be easier for you to succeed in life. If you know where the goalpost are then you will get anywhere you want. If you d not know where the goalpost if then you will be working hard for nothing.
