Registered nurses provide various services depending on their areas of specialization and their work environment. They provide care for their patients as well as assisting physicians in providing treatments to patients in various medal settings.

Associates degree in nursing or Bachelor's of science in nursing, or a diploma from an accredited nursing program. 
Demand for this particular career:
Must take and pass the National Council Licensure examination to become fully registered.
